The Brain Power® Program Performance Guarantee provides registered Brain Power® Users the guarantee that the Brain Power® Cognitive Skills Training Program will effectively produce measurable cognitive improvement in patients with;
- Brain Injuries (mild to moderate),
- Learning / Developmental Disorders
- Other Cognitive Disorders (not due to a progressive disorder)
...when implemented and managed according to the Brain Power® standards specified below. Measurable improvement is defined as a change in 3 or more test scores of 1 standard deviation or more in underdeveloped cognitive skills. We want you, the Brain Power® User, to be pleased with the Brain Power® Program…the most comprehensive and sophisticated cognitive skills training program available. If, when properly administered, the Brain Power® Program does not perform to the standards of this guarantee, Brain Power Direct will refund the full 12-week treatment cost of the program, up to $450, to the payer of the treatment fees.
Important Guarantee Disclaimer:
Brain Power Direct is guaranteeing program performance when properly administered by a Brain Power® Provider, with a certified Trainer and/or Support Trainer. The Brain Power® Program is designed for use by registered Providers as a professionally managed home based treatment program. Individual results are subject to proper diagnosis, set-up, implementation, management, and accurate data input. Treatment implementation must meet clinical standards, as defined below, and it is the responsibility of the certified Brain Power® Provider. For that reason, the following conditions must be met for reimbursement under this guarantee:
- Program training occurs a minimum of six (6) days each week (7 days is recommended)
- Program training occurs for the full hour each training session
- Program training occurs a minimum of 12 weeks
- Certified Provider inputs pre and post treatment cognitive assessment results
- Patient is pre-screened for attention disorders (using the ADHD Symptom Checklists provided in the Reference Materials)
- Patients with an attention disorder are taking medication while undergoing treatment with the Brain Power® Program
- Training is Professionally Administered by a certified Brain Power® Provider/Trainer (or administration is contracted with Brain Power Direct)
Note: Although, Brain Power® can achieve significant results without Professional Administration, we are unable to guarantee the results.
